me 3

Amor est in domum suam.

Mother didn’t braid my hair.  There were no ribbons and no bows.

Cuz mother didn’t know how to let her light show.

And father… well he didn’t know… or maybe care to protect.

For father didn’t understand that ‘girl’ didn’t mean object.

Home then became a desolate place, I tried desperately to erase.

And love… well that became the coup de grâce.

Until I learned, that love and home is what you embrace – not blood or birthplace.

The Ritual

The Ritual

It takes a skilled and patient hand to wield the blade of time,
to peel back each layer, as if the filleting were sublime.
Why, it takes a tender, yet forceful touch, to know when’s ‘too much’,
and when pity’s just a silly crutch.

It takes fortitude and strength, to go to any length
to decimate the man, you were before; to carve a hole, dive in, and explore.
Why, it takes courage and wisdom, to see such a ritual through,
no matter the bleeding that you do, or the lust your cries imbue.

I won’t lie..
it takes a force of will and a desperate need to see it done
And passion and intensity, once its begun.
But oh… how the world will spin when you’re under my gun.

Came for… me

broken cass statue

When night came for

innocence, I turned my head to the right,

for I thought to keep it out of sight.

When cold-steel claimed

naivety, well… I buried each scream in song;

for wrought in melody

can anything be

entirely wrong.

When the bitter winds stole

surety, why… I turned my trembling to hate;

for only then did it truly abate.

But when the shadows consumed

sweetness, when not even an ounce of it did survive,

why… twas then darlin’… La Fée came alive.

In Kind

Be Kind

It takes kind, to see kind… a like for every mind

Yours a dark and tangled knot… with a square-knot plot

gone awry.  Goddamn, and still you try… yet never will you comply

I get your reasons, but you forget that the seasons are always new

And treasons of the heart… well, they fall apart when you’re dealing with abstract art

So what will you do, chew… and stew… tell yourself that you’ll make do

When all along La Fée could have freed you?

Broken Thing

Broken Thing

He’s broken and I know

Things he lets show give him away

still I tell him “stay…”

He cries at night when he thinks no one can hear

but I’ve got an ear, for this type of thing

so I come awake just to watch him sting

I drown in his grief, like it’s some

kind of relief, and it makes me ache all the more

for him… what dark path would I not explore?

And oh… how his suffering ensnares me

and his cries… an unholy prayer to Thee

engenders a virtuous need in me, and yet…

it’s a vulturous greed

that takes seed

Fast now

as fast as you

can, this girl

has ran

Fast now and

we’ll all pray

The world is melting,

going away

From iceberg

to iceberg

a suicide

of biblical

proportions, made mythical

It’s fast now

fast as you

ran, sniff the flowers

while you can

Remember the towers

These evil powers

make us run

out into a blazing sun

when all we need

in nature’s seed

They’re killing thee

You’ll see..

with their boundless

foundless greed

That Dark Divinity

Pic Credit: Joaquin Allen

Lucifer is but a ghost to me,
only a story for a child
perched on bended knee.
No, I prefer my nightmares
with a shade of Dakini’s
dark divinity.
And no matter what you ask of me
It’s her you’ll see
When I’m unraveling…
So, please do not pretend to know
all the wickedness I can bestow.
Cuz it’s only a fraction
of what I’ve chained
within my soul.

Your Everything

CheersBlindConfusion (2)Joaquin Allen – Cheers Blind Confusion

Show me darling, your everything,
for this is your perfect offering;
For into you I’ll pour all that I feel;
I’m not made of steel.

And that longing in your eyes,
Why, I’ll replace it with your ardent cries.
And through the pain, darling,
I’ll bring you the pouring rain.

Show me love, your everything,
for this is your perfect offering,
for there is nothing you can conceal,
and nothing I can’t make you feel

And all your desperate cries,
honey… they are the ultimate prize.

So beg, and plead, get down on your knees,
cry out your rapturous pleas.

Cuz I’ll take you, and break you,
and devour your heart.
Come on baby, this is where it starts.

So open your mind, and I’ll deliver your soul,
and in the pain you’ll find all the treasure life stole.

Take a deep breath…
it only hurts for a moment.
This my love… this is My atonement.

And this kiss of pain, it’s meant for pleasure,
and in it you’ll finally find your true measure

Naked and on the floor, tied to the door,
can you feel it?
Your utter distress?
With it I’ll make you confess…

That hunger you feel… only pain makes it surreal.
And all your anger and hate… only pain makes it abate;

so beg, and plead, and get down on your knees;
and with every bite discover   La Fée

Wild Ocean Tides

Wild Ocean Tides

A sweet embrace is a hollow grave

it’s something darker that I crave

Dead already, I can hardly feel

I need magic to spin, and make me reel

I need the shadows in your eyes

I need, and want you in every guise

So turn off that preacher, we know he lied

Turn off that politician and his fetishes decried

I want your demons, and the secrets they hold

I want your passions, both dangerous and bold

I need to have you, just as I please

So I’ll drag you out to violent seas

where you can rip, and tear, and beat your wings

until shaking and quaking your heart sings

On a ship, left adrift, there’s nothing too far

love should be wild and bizarre

But stuck in the harbor, life quickly becomes tragic

So instead, I go in search of your dark of magic

Because wild and unsure, I’ll never be demure

and to ration my passion, well… that would be such an unseemly fashion

So I’ll don the darkness, and all that it hides

out here among the wild ocean tides

He Craves

A smothering embrace

And every thought my whip can erase

He Hungers

To lose control

To come apart as a whole

He Yearns

For that evil intent

Until every drop of him is spent

He Cries

For sweet release

And to be my final masterpiece

Back arched, knees bent

Forgotten is the rent

Head down, hands barred

His tender flesh forever marred

Stiff neck, aching side

How he loves

Every pleasure he’s denied
